Deliciousmother (DM) is an introverted thirty something mother to one Amazing kid, wife to one gorgeous man, sister to one beautiful woman, daughter to four incredible parents, and (an amazing) friend to many.

She tries hard to adopt a spiritual way of life (think Eckhart Tolle, Buddhist practices, teachings of Jesus Christ) and succeeds only some of the time. Having a cheeky toddler and a husband has made it even more challenging to stay on a zen path to peace and contentment. Nevertheless, DM is infinitely grateful to the Universe for the privilege of loving and sharing her life with them.

This blog was originally intended for her beautiful and much missed friends back in Oz to get a little glimpse of her new life in Europe, but she is happy to see that people from many parts of the world stumble upon a day/moment/thought that she has in this sweet life. You will read about many random things, ranging from icky baby stuff to travel adventures.

Even though travel, sickness, boredom, apathy, life and laziness gets in the way, it is DM’s fervent desire to regularly update this blog, so that one day Amazing M can read about her life through the colourful lens of her  amazing mother (obviously).

Better get a move on, then.

Oh, and DM loves to bake cakes, cakelets and cup cakes.

  1. Hello…

I came across your site and saw your beautiful doljabi board. I was wondering if you could help me from one mother to another as to how you created it. It would be absolutely perfect for our daughter’s birthday theme. Hope to hear from soon. Thank you in advance for any help!

    1. Hello!
I subscribed to Smilebox- paid version, and then chose an ‘album’ design that I really liked. You can choose how many photos, or in my case pictures that you want and I just copied and pasted doljabi items into the photo spaces. You can google image the items you want and insert them into the photo slot. Hope this makes sense. Let me know if you need more help! Good luck.

      1. Oh wow! Thank you so much. This site has so many great designs to choose from as well as slideshows. You’re a lifesaver 🙂 One last help please, what size did you print? Since I see the white borders.

      2. I printed out an 8×12 inch, although the bottom white border bit took up 2 inches. The white border you see around it is white cardboard I stuck the photo print on. If you blog, I’d love to see your end result. I had so much fun (and a bit of stress) organising M’s first birthday. The second was also fun and also just as stressful. I’m thinking next year, we’ll just go to Legoland.
