A nice Father’s day.

Parenting & Musings

It was Father’s day in the U.K. yesterday. We had a nice breakfast of salmon and cream cheese with chives on bread and went to a local Turkish restaurant for some lovely lunchtime nosh. Mr B enjoyed his father’s day and both Amazing M and I are extremely grateful to have such a fab daddy and husband!

Speaking of Turkey, we are off for eight days of sunshine and sand eating expeditions (I think M will most definitely eat some sand) next week.

To be frugal and green I am going to have to dig around the wardrobe and organise a light holiday wardrobe, as temps in Antalya are hovering around the mid 30s.

A few light dresses, kaftans, bikinis, hat and sunscreen should do the trick. I bought a great chevron print maxi dress a couple of weeks ago in the GAP sale that I will definitely be taking along.

Now all I need is a fab medi-pedi!
